Seretse Kgame was a forefather of Botswana. He lived to serve the nation with great pride and joy. He was born in 1935 at Serowe. His parents were Tsehekdi Kgama and Tlholego Kgama.

He began his studies at Mma Besi primary and later attended Sekgo Senior School where played expetional Cricket as the captain of the school team. He later went to Kingston College to do his Phylosophy degree.
